Our website address is: https://bsdetector.tech. We provide free online checkers, detectors, translators and tests that help you spot fake or misleading content online.

Our tools run inside your own browser. The text you paste, the photos you open, and the audio clips you check are processed on your device. We do not upload them to a server, we do not store them, and we never see them.

Two tools are an exception, because they have to ask a public service a question to give you an answer. The Reverse Email Lookup and the Source Credibility Checker send lookup requests straight from your browser to third-party services: Cloudflare's public DNS resolver, public RDAP website registration records, and Gravatar's public profile service. Those requests carry the website or email address you entered, along with the usual details any website sees, such as your IP address. Each of those services handles that request under its own privacy policy. We do not act as an intermediary for those requests, and we do not log, keep, or receive a copy of what you looked up.

There are no accounts on this website, so we set no login or registration cookies. Cookies and similar browser storage are used to remember your own settings, such as your light or dark theme choice, and by our analytics providers so we can see which tools people use.

Some tools keep a little information in your browser's local storage so your work survives a page reload, for example a running tap count. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Anything you put into a tool exists only in your browser for as long as that page is open, or until you clear your browser storage. Analytics data is kept by our analytics providers under their own retention periods, in aggregate form. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query.

You can clear anything a tool has saved by clearing your browser storage for this site, and you can opt out of analytics by using your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker. Because we hold no account data, there is generally nothing to export or erase, but if you believe we hold personal data about you, you may ask us for a copy of it or ask us to delete it. This does not include anything we are obliged to keep for legal or security purposes.
